NY Empire Manufacturing Index
NAHB Housing Market Index
FED Interest Rate Decision
FOMC Economic Projections
FED Chairman Powell Speaking

Just Dang! I am not going to explain all of that but just know in an already uptight news reactionary situation we are in we have a lot of it coming today. 

A reminder that if you see instant jerk reactions they usually come back in line so don’t freak out but if the market goes to the positive also be prepared to lock at the right time. 

Another important reason to monitor the MBS.

CAN NON-MARRIED BORROWERS BE ON JOINT APPLICATION

I was asked this question and I thought this would be a great reminder of what is allowed or at least Flagstar stance on the situation.

We prefer if borrowers are not married they always be on separate applications.

BUT,
we will allow them to be on the same application if both borrowers currently live at the same address and the addresses will match on our subject property.

MARKETING USING REMARKETING

By the way, Lucy asked me why I had not started my branding marketing I promised last week and I decided I wanted to start it at the beginning of the year so I am doing some oldies but goodies now.

So, what is re-marketing? It is taking the old that worked really well and making it the new.

So many people try to re-invent the wheel when the wheel that they have works great and has plenty of miles left on it. 

Most of you do not review your open rates and so forth but you kind of know what marketing you have put out in the past that worked. It may be a social post or email solicitation or a follow up type of call but something at some point must have worked.

Dig in to your old stuff and see if something hits you with an oh yeah, that was great when I did that.

Believe it or not the 2nd or 3rd time around or the 10th or 11th time around will usually get better results the more clients see something.

So, do yourself and your time management a favor and dig in to your old stuff and see what you can make new.
